Revolution For those who don't know, the Ron Paul campaign has decided to run a real time feed of the online campaign donations. Having this level of transparency is going to take the Ron Paul campaign to new levels. Exposing this data, especially as an easily consumed web service... wow... Tips on How to Use This Site Did you know about the check boxes under the main navigation on the front page? "show large flash widget" - shows a large version of the Lady Liberty widget from the ronpaul2008.com site. "use fancy graph viewer" - when this box is enabled, clicking on a graph will bring up an overlay with a bigger version of that graph. If the checkbox is off, clicking a graph will take you to a new page with a bigger graph. "configure layout" - this checkbox places drop down boxes over each graph on the home page. selecting any of these graphs will change that slot to your selection, and should remain set that way on subsequent visits! You do not need to keep the checkbox checked. NOTE: these features all require cookies if you want your settings to stick.

About the Site and It's Author I'm into the Ron Paul campaign this election season.. I'm also a nerd... this page is the result of that combo. This page is created by a Java program I wrote. I'm using some stuff like jquery, jfreechart, velocity and a bunch of stuff from Apache Commons. I am now fetching fundraising data every 2 minutes. The graphs will update about every 5 minutes. Meetup data is update every hour. Mondeybomb data is updated every 3 hours. RonPaulForums data is updates hourly. Youtube, Intrade, and Eventful data is updated once per day. Census data probably does not need updating. The projection algorithm used in nearly every graph with a regression curve, is just a basic least squares regression... I'm looking for something a little better...so that may change at any time. I have plans to add some graphs (like moving averages) as more data comes in. Of course this website and it's author have nothing to do with the Ron Paul campaign, we (me and the website) are just fans. No one is getting paid here, this is all on my server and done in my "free time". I'm always looking for feedback and ideas... email address below!
